Then out of the corner of my eye, walking back to Central I noticed the @tobysestatecoffee sign and felt that I should put my luck. I have not been able to consistently find good Toby’s Estate coffee, and figured that if I was going to get it anywhere, it would be here.
So I started with a Kenya Kyuu AA as a baby long black and it was kind of what I was expecting.
I got hit with a whack of medical berry and ribena sweetness, that was dark and syrupy. It wasn’t quite burnt, as it had a round finish, but it was not overly impressive. Dead cold however, it had a delicious clean cold plum sweetness, so maybe using it as a cold brew is a good option…?
